The Epistle is our church's official publication. Three issues appear each year at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. It is distributed to each member of our parish, with a circulation of about 130 copies.

Dear August members of St. Augustine's, If I weren't typing this letter, I'd be out shovelling snow, so you see where my priorities lie. This is just a friendly reminder to all of you that Easter comes early this year and it's not too early to consider what contribution you might be making to the next issue of the Epistle. I've already had the promise of a story from one of the young people of the parish, which I'm looking forward to. Another of you has offered to do some interviewing in preparation for another article profiling people who are a part of our growing parish family. We are blessed with people with a lot of creative ability both literary and artistic. I see my job as editor to bring out and encourage that talent and to share it with the wider congregation, bearing in mind that our goal is to glorify our Lord. I challenge some of you to begin now think about what you you might be able to provide that would be topical to the Lenten, Easter Season, of interest to a fairly wide reading audience, and able to build up others in the faith. If all goes well I'd like to have the Epistle in people's hands by March 17th. I'll need to have any material you write to me for editing by March 11th.That's less than two months away! Your cooperation in this matter will be much appreciated. Yours expectantly, Doug Warren, Editor of the Epistle
